Nerea "the Fiddler" Gourlaouen traces her roots to the Basque Country of Spain and France. Her parents moved to California
where she was born, but moved to Nova Scotia, where she learned fiddle and step-dancing.
She has traveled the world performing and
learning world music.
She plays Scottish, International music, Middle Eastern now and Contra
style tunes, and is featured at the Colorado Music Institute.
Ken Malave teaches piano and guitar and plays for the Colorado Music
Institute. He is a multi instrumentalist who moved out here from NYC.
